Just attended two iftars (evening break fast meal) with our Muslim friends in Kebun Baru and Teck Ghee. Glad that Singaporeans of other races and religions could join us in this meaningful Ramadan ritual. Hope that the hampers and vouchers we distributed to needy residents in Teck Ghee come in handy for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations.
Amat gembira melihat ramai penduduk yang bukan Muslim turut hadir berbuka bersama di majlis-majlis iftar di Kelab Masyarakat Kebun Baru dan Teck Ghee tadi. Saya berharap habuan yang diberikan kepada penduduk-penduduk yang memerlukan di Teck Ghee dapat membantu mereka sempena perayaan Aidilfitri yang akan menjelang. – LHL
